Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3 is the third title in the Japanese only fighting game series Naruto: Narutimate Hero for the Playstation 2. It is based on the popular anime and manga series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto.

Features
Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3 features a 2D plane fighting engine similar to classic arcade fighting games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. However, it boasts full 3D, and the ability to switch between two planes within an environment - the foreground and the background.

This game features 42 different characters from the Naruto series with unique abilities and various types of ninja weapons like kunai, shuriken and makibishi. There are a total of 21 stages from locations in the Naruto world like the Naruto bridge, Hidden Sand Village and the Valley of The End, where the epic battle between Naruto and Sasuke took place.

There is a story mode which follows the story of the Naruto manga series, and also an RPG mode which has a story unrelated to Masashi Kishimoto's original works. These single player modes will unlock new characters, jutsu and ougis, which are short pre-rendered cutscenes which allow the player to deal massive damage and sometimes activate special statuses like Sharingan and Byakugan.

This game also features new in-game transformations which allow certain characters to transform into more powerful forms, like Naruto's Kyūbi mode and Rock Lee's Suiken.

When two jutsu collide, the brand new jutsu-clash system is activated, and both players will have to button mash - the victor will deal damage and his opponent is thrown off.
